This painting is another very special custom piece. For the sake of confidentiality I can't share the details of the story that goes with this painting... but a wonderful Momma asked me to paint this piece of her sweet little son and herself.
Sweet baby boy!
Thank you for the honor of painting this piece for you, dear C!
Ps: I will soon have prints of this painting available in my Etsy shop...
Harmony Pyper (a fellow artist, Etsian, and adoptive Momma) featured me and my art on her blog today. Feel free to swing by there - you will find out a little more about my life, my background, my motivation and inspiration for painting, and you will even get to see my messy messy art corner.
Amid all the "real" painting I've been doing for my watercolor class, I started missing the quick little ACEO illustrations I did all last year. Inspired by the daffodil leaf tips I discovered today peeking out of the soil in our garden, I decided to paint a set of 8 little daffodil fairy ACEOs.

I think I will probably list these on eBay as soon as I have the chance to list for free again... message me if you want a heads-up for when I list them!
Look what I did yesterday evening. I haven't decided yet if I even like this painting... I may keep working on it, or I may abandon it and work on something else. I don't like the yellow highlights on the baby's face because they make him look jaundiced, but the pigment in the yellow paint is a dyeing pigment, so I can't lift it back off...
I recently listed some of my ACEO paintings from last year on eBay. After the bidding ended, one person who had bid but hadn't won contacted me asking to create more pink pig Momma doodles. I told her I'd be happy to, so here they are:
I list them on eBay as soon as there is another round of "list for free" days. This was fun and relaxing!
